My Start Playing Games Basics

  • Most are $25 per session with one session per month.

  • All have Free Session 0's and are played online/hybrid if you are local.

  • Dates listed are arbitrary and can change based off party needs.

  • Learn more by reaching out on Start Playing Games.

  • Rob a bank, if not for yourself, then for your criminal group, or even to return it to the city and stop those baddies from taking it, then dive into The Undermountain where great magic and adventure awaits.

  • Angels, devils, demons that fight either, and the dark forces that fall everywhere between will be nothing compared to the depths of depravity that can exist within the soul of a mortal, the thing they all vie for.

  • This tale begins in Candlekeep, but quickly finds a trip Northward afterwards, where a local village will be sieged by an unknown force. Where the story goes from there depends on choices made at key points, but the journey will be littered with adventure and heart in the meantime!

  • This story will use Out of the Abyss as it's core, but additional stories will include Candlekeep Mysteries, Radiant Citadel, and Infinite Staircase, as well as Tales from the Yawning Portal, and some dabbling of homebrew content for side questing!

  • Builders and those who favor tool, song, and tactics may find refuge in this highly homebrewed tale that features stories support from Keys from the Golden Vault, Radiant Citadel, and Infinite Staircase, as well as the Lost Laboratory of Kwalish, and a bit more homebrewing within the Eberron setting.

  • The darkness of the Shadowfell is hardly the only evil that threatens the world, and Vecna is the master of secrets sitting on their throne of spiders. Only they know the truth of the truths they bury, and Strahd is but one that is repelled by the wall of shade.

  • This Trek is not for the faint of heart, nor for those unwilling to sacrifice something to survive the harshness of this world. Horror and freedom round the same corner, can you discern the split between them?

  • A journey as ancient as the titular members that the various cults of personality or otherwise bring to bear. The Princes of the Apocalypse is meshed with the Witch of the Wildlight to interweave both the primordial beings and the ancients that know of them in the world of the Fey.

  • What passageways will you walk to scape the planes and all that lies between? What trials and tribulations lie beyond the realms of mortal quandaries? Only the Lady of Pain knows, really, the master of all the doors in the city of Sigil - where this 5th Edition D&D Adventure truly takes off!

  • The darkness below the city suffers little and hungers for power dark and ancient, pure and from somewhere beyond comprehension. Can you withstand the madness that might suffer you and yours in that latter parts of this tale? Live together, or die alone in the Far Below.

  • A titular engaging experience for new and old players alike, Dragons of Stormwreck Isle boasts a different Dragon to slay than the run of the mill White Dragon from Icespire Peak. The replacement to the starter set for fifth edition, it works well for all experiences of play.
